Nootka Sound is Vancouver Island’s premier sport fishing destination for Chinook (King) and Coho (Silver) salmon. Our lodge is recognized as one of the finest sport fishing resorts on the west coast. We are tucked into Galiano Bay, a short boat ride from the rugged West Coast where wildlife is abundant. Bears, wolves, whales, dolphins, eagles and otters are a few of the incredible wild species encountered daily, right from our dock.

NWL provides all the comfort & personal attention that people hope for when away from home. We cant always control the weather or fishing, which is why we make sure that the service and comfort you experience at our lodge is second to none!

The Wild Pacific

Once you have arrived in Campbell River you will board a float plane and take flight over some of the most beautiful landscape on Vancouver Island. After a short thirty minute flight over breathtaking scenery you will land in historic Nootka Sound where we await your arrival. Nootka Wilderness Lodge is nestled in a quiet bay, only minutes from world class fishing.
