You board a turbo otter seaplane in beautiful Vancouver, BC. The 50 minute flight over Vancouver Islands incredible Strathcona Provincial Park will have you looking down at stunning old growth forests and snow capped alpine mountains the whole way. The final destination is Nootka Sound, as the plane floats up to our large front deck you will be greeted by smiling staff who are eager to treat you to a trip of a lifetime at Nootka Wilderness Lodge

The main lodge features a beautiful dining room with large live edge fir tables created right in our backyard and a sprawling lounge with comfortable couches and games for you to enjoy. After a full day of surfing, fishing and adventure, our large front deck is the perfect spot for you to relax, unwind and enjoy the sunset with friends.
Having our guest rooms on a separate lodge ensures a good nights rest, no matter what time you choose to lay down. Our sleeping quarters are separate from the main lodge and feature 10 cozy guest rooms. Your private room will have 2 or 3 beds for you and your fishing partner, along with your own private 3 piece ensuite bathroom stocked with toiletries and towels.
